Following recent demonstrations of institutional racism and world-wide racial discrimination, Catch 27 recognises the global responsibility to protect, support, and fight for BAME groups and their human rights. This Tee features an image based on Picasso’s Guernica. The faces and their varied expressions represent a multitude of reactions to racial discrimination. These faces are fragmented, implying that there are thousands of stories of suffering that we may never be aware of. There is no order to this image, and it appears incomplete – mimicking the ongoing and chaotic battle for equality between races. As a collective, we must strive to end racial discrimination.
