The image on the back of the garment was photographed through the window of a closed cafe on a deserted London street amid national lockdown. The familiar “Sorry We’re Closed” and barcode symbols combine with this image to represent the vulnerability of small, local businesses during lockdown. We created this garment in acknowledgement of the social and economic issues caused by the COVID19 outbreak. It is important for us to remember and support those affected indirectly by the pandemic.
